Gate valve

Advantages of gate valve:
(1) The internal medium channel of the gate valve body is straight, the medium does not change its flow direction when flowing through the gate valve, and the resistance to fluid is small.
(2) When the gate valve is opened and closed, the direction of movement of the gate plate is perpendicular to the flow direction of the medium. Compared with the stop valve, the opening and closing of the gate valve is labor-saving.
(3) Flowing in any direction on both sides of the gate valve can achieve the purpose of use. It is more suitable for pipelines where the flow direction of the medium may change.
(4) The gate of the gate valve is placed vertically in the valve body, while the valve disc of the shut-off valve is placed horizontally in the valve body, so the structure length is shorter than that of the shut-off valve.
(5) The sealing performance of the gate valve is good. When the valve is fully opened, the erosion of the sealing surface is small.
(6) When the gate valve is fully opened, the erosion of the sealing surface by the working medium is smaller than that of the stop valve.
(7) The gate valve has a relatively simple body shape, good casting technology, and a wide range of applications.
